This is an inspiring story of Svetlana Dorokhina, a pretty young Russian woman who accidently took up painting inspired by her father who left her during the pandemic. She was overcome with grief at the sudden loss of somebody so close, painting came to her rescue. Her creative work is a tribute to her father. She started her new career as an artist over 2 years ago, in August 2020, at the height of the Pandemic……..

Aneela Nike Post has picked Svetlana Dorokhina, a young psychologist turned painter and, a smart and enterprising woman from Moscow in Russia who for the last couple of years has been attracting attention by her unusual drawing and paintings after the sudden death of her father during the pandemic. She was inspired by her father and loves painting landscapes. Some of her sold paintings are in the private collections of people in Russia, US and India. Her paintings are a creative expression from her heart.

Though the response has been good, she would like more art collectors and connoisseurs to include her art works in their private collections. It exhibits her true spirit to fulfill her creative dreams. She is living her dream and happy it’s slowly coming true. She is getting recognized. Svetlana Dorokhina is a self-taught pretty and talented Russian painter who was inspired to start painting after the sudden death of her father during the recent pandemic. Maybe it was her way to overcome her grief; and a tribute to her father and her expression of the inner feeling of his sudden loss. Her creative expression through art to overcome the loss is inspiring, with her talent being expressed through the creative work of art. The paintings give a peek into her inner mind which seems to be settling down after the turmoil.

Her father, in a way was an unknown and unrecognized artist. He worked as a fire-fighter and did painting as a passion after the divorce from his wife. Maybe he was expressing his anger or sorrow through the painting? Svetlana feels sad that his thought and creative work was not seen by the world or his talent recognized. He died early without getting any recognition for his passion. And Svetlana decided to fulfil his dream.

Svetlana does big and small oil paintings mainly on landscape, nature and scenery. She has a small but good collection of oil paintings created by her over the years. It’s her way of expressing her feelings for her dad and keeping alive his memory. This seems to have brought out the best in her through her paintings.

Though she’s a self-taught painter, she claims to be an ardent student of top and renowned Russian painters like Igor Medvedev, I Sakharov, N Yurshina, M Mankov and others. She was inspired by their style, creativity and their artworks. She tries to infuse these ideas in her paintings. It appears to some extent she has succeeded and influenced her work.

Her collection of paintings is creative, different, attractive and profoundly meaningful with a natural feel. The strokes and colour make her artworks lively and expressive. She expects the world to see her creative artworks by buying her paintings which will encourage her to do better and focus on it to keep the memory of her dad alive. India looking to partner with Embraer, Sukhoi to make small jets in India

With make-in-India and self-reliance as the key factor, India is looking for foreign partners. The government will keep 51% equity with an Indian company, while asking the foreign partner to do technology transfer. A fair deal for both.

India is looking to partner with global aircraft manufacturers, including Embraer SA and Russia’s Sukhoi, to make small planes locally as it seeks to improve connectivity in tiny towns and far-flung areas, according to people familiar with the matter. It will be a boon for air travel making it affordable to the common man.

The government will keep 51% equity with an Indian company, while asking the foreign partner to do technology transfer, the report said, asking not to be identified as the deliberations are at an early stage. The jets, which typically seat less than 100 people, are likely to be produced in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s home state of Gujarat, they said.

The world’s fastest-growing aviation market is trying to ramp up its small-plane fleet as airports with limited capacity and short runways are not equipped to handle narrow-body planes of Airbus SE and Boeing Co. that dominate the Indian skies. This will help the government bolster tourism and facilitate faster access to remote areas in the South Asian giant of 1.4 billion, which recently has been seen to surpass China in population. If it gets through it will be a boost to air travel, tourism and help people to save time and money.
