Da Vinci painting is the world's most expensive artwork

Art world is stunned as the Salvator Mundi, a 500-year-old painting of Jesus Christ, smashes records. Previous best was a $179.4 million Picasso painting. Salvator Mundi is one of fewer than 20 paintings by Leonardo known to exist and only one in private hands.

A painting of Jesus Christ by the Renaissance master Leonardo da Vinci sold for a record $450.3 million (over Rs 2,920 crore) at a auction recently, smashing previous records for artworks sold at auction or privately.

Expensive Dessert!

The world's most expensive cheese-cake costs $4,592 (Rs 3 lakh). Made by Ristorante Rafele in New York. The dessert is made with ingredients including whites buffalo ricotta, white truffle, 200-year old Hennessyar Paradis cognac, Madagascar vanilla and gold leaf. The chef even claims the milk from which the cheese is made from comes from Italian buffaloes who are massaged every day and listen to classical music!
